The Indian Embassy in Qatar has confirmed that 12 Indian nationals were among those who lost their lives in the industrial incident at Ras Laffan Industrial City on Sunday night. The embassy shared the update on June 22 through its official social media channels, expressing condolences to the families affected by the tragedy.
In its statement, the embassy said it was deeply saddened by the loss of lives and offered prayers for the departed souls. It also confirmed that all injured individuals are currently in stable condition and receiving appropriate medical care from Qatari authorities.

QatarEnergy expressed its condolences to the victims and their families, emphasizing that the company is providing full support to those affected by the tragedy.
The company also clarified that the incident was an operational accident and not the result of sabotage or any hostile action.
