Eid Al-Fitr likely to fall on June 15

Kuwait- The Eid Al-Fitr, signaling the End of Ramadan will likely fall on Friday, corresponding to the 15th of June, 2018.

 

Kuwaiti astronomer and historian Adel Al-Saadoun said the new moon would not be visible on Wednesday, June 13, which means that Thursday would be the last day of fasting, reported Alrai.

“The moon will be visit, by naked eye in all Arab and Islamic countries on Thursday, 14th of June, which means the advent of the Eid Al-Fitr would be the day after, that’s Friday June 15.

Meanwhile, a sourced from the Kuwait Civil Service Commission said public employees who be given a four-day holiday and resume work on June 19, without any compensation for Saturday, which is a day off.
