Earlier, India captain Sunil Chhetri also pleaded to the fans to help the people of Kerala, who are going through a very bad phase because of the national calamity. Chhetri posted a video on his Twitter account and asked people to 'assist' the victims.

According to latest reports, the death toll has reached 324 and more than 2.23 lakh people are currently based in around 1,500 relief camps, which are based in different locations of the state.
The overall damaged caused in the state is estimated to be around Rs 20,000 crore. Meanwhile, India's prime minister Narendra Modi has announced an urgent relief of Rs 500 crore for relief and rescue operations in Kerala.
