India police 'arrests two Bollywood actors after mistaking them for terrorists' during film shooting

Indian police have reportedly arrested two actors dressed in army clothing, after mistaking them for terrorists, India's TV9 Gujarati claimed on Wednesday.
The two extras, Balram Ginwala and Arbaaz Khan, were reportedly taken by the police in Palghar town, in the state of Maharashtra.

"After an hour-long search operation, Mumbai police arrested 2 men suspected to be terrorists, but later turned out to be extras on the sets of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's upcoming action film," tweeted the Indian TV.

Anil Mahajan, a bank watchman and ex-BSF personnel, saw the pair and informed the police on May 27, saying that he spotted two people dressed as bombers roaming in the town.

Police is said to have returned to CCTV footage to track and stop the bus which the two had boarded, but they found out that it was heading to a movie shoot, where the pair were required to act in the film, being produced by Yash Raj Films production company.

Police also reportedly confiscated the movie's production unit.

Indian press reports said the police registered a case against the two extras for creating panic and disrupting peace among citizens, while dressed as terrorists.

Despite the widespread circulation of the arrest on local media, Bombay police later denied the claim in a tweet and urged verification of facts.

Indian actress and model Vaani Kapoor will star in the film, the title of which has not yet been revealed.

"I feel that film is going to be something cool. The idea is to get Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt of 'Mission Impossible' versus James Bond, together in the same film. That's the idea," Tiger said about the film which will be directed by Siddharth Anand.
