4. Bacon Egg Hakka Noodles:
This one is a stolen recipe – I mean it was adapted from the classic carbonara recipe. An ultimate fusion recipe, this is sure to woo every audience you have.
Ingredients:
- Egg Hakka noodles – 3 cups, cooked al dente, rinsed with cold water, drained and kept aside
- Eggs – 4
- Bacon – 4 slices, cut into ½ inch slices
- Heavy cream – ¼ cup
- Soy sauce – ¾ tsp
- Green chili sauce – ¾ tsp
- Cooking oil -1 tbsp
- White pepper powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
Directions:
- Add bacon to a shallow frying pan and cook until it turns evenly brown and crispy. Transfer to paper towels and drain off the excess oil.
- In a bowl, beat eggs with cream and oil until the mixture blends well.
- Add noodles to egg mixture and season generously.
- Toss to ensure even blending of flavors.
- Add bacon slices and toss well.
- Spoon into a plate and serve hot.
