"The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." And the story I am about to share with you all is a perfect example to this.
It was May 6, 2014, and just like any other day, Deepak Saini, a boy from Ambala, Haryana left his house along with his friend to board the train from Ambala Railway Station. The train was overcrowded, but Deepak and his friends somehow managed to get the entry.
Suddenly, a lady standing at the railway station asked Deepak to get her water bottle filled from the water cooler. He stood up for help and got out of the train carrying his bag.
But, when he left the train to help the lady, he didn't know that his life is about to take a massive turn...
"I was just filling the water bottle when I realised that the train has started moving."
"I carried the bottles in my hands, and without thinking about anything, I tried to get back on the train. My foot slipped, I fell on the platform and the compartment through which I fell moved forward, but my bag got stuck in the one behind it. The other compartment was dragging me, and my body came under the train. And, in a few moments, it got over my left leg."
"For people at the station, I was nothing more than a WhatsApp story..."
As soon as Deepak's friends and some kind people around saw him, they went to drag him up the track. He also recalled,"A bunch of people were busy shooting videos and clicking pictures. For them, I was just another WhatsApp story."
