8.The Thunder Dragon of Bhutan

The flag of Bhutan is based on Bhutanese mythology on which the Drukpa Lineage had based its tradition. Tibetan Buddhism has greatly influenced Bhutan and thus the Thunder Dragon in the center of its flag. The yellow color in the background means civil tradition and the orange half, the Buddhist spiritual tradition.
