The attitude of the present generation has been totally different from before. Their confidence and their freedom of expression is on peak that they have stood their ground and there will be instances of unconscious disrespect to elders. One virtue instill to us by our Filipino ancestors is respect on the elderly that is totally different from the values of the previous colonizers.

Robin Padilla, a seasoned action star shared one of his encounters with a young artist. He recalled that it happened when he is inside the elevator and this young artist also took the lift. He felt insulted that the young artist did not even greet him or acknowledge him when in fact they are riding the same elevator. He even mentioned that he had this impulse to greet the artist and even introduce himself.

But Robin Padilla clarified that he is not imposing that it is imperative that the older artists are obliged to be greeted. It is no issue for him, he just compared the behavior of his generation to today’s generation of artists. He also mentioned that during his early years on his career Boss Vic del Rosario often advise him to be respectful with the other artists hence acknowledge them because they are working in the same industry.

Robin added that whenever they will be greeted, it will always be appreciated instead of being ignored as if they do not know each other, to think that they see each other on television. Maria, and on his weekend night show as judge on a Kapamilya reality show, Pilipinas Got TalentI hosted by Billy Cawford and Toni Gonzaga and co-judges Sir FMG, Vice Gand and Angel Locsin.
