The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia just issued a press statement, indicating that the man who burned his father alive has been executed.
According to the release quoted on the Saudi Press Agency, "Abdullah bin Mubarak bin Manahi Al Burooq AL Bishi, a Saudi national, murdered his father by setting him on fire after pouring gasoline on him while he was asleep in his home.
"The police forces were able to apprehend the suspect.
"Investigations revealed that he was the culprit.
"He was referred to the supreme court, who verified that he had committed the crime.
"He was sentenced to death for his crime."
"A royal order was issued which confirmed the verdict be carried out."
The government announced the execution to maintain that the law has exacted the proper punishment for the heinous crime.
