Good news: Unlocked iPhones purchased from other countries will have warranty in India

Here comes another good news for the iPhone lovers. The Cupertino-based giant has now announced that it will be giving warranty in India on its unlocked iPhones purchased from outside India. This means that if you purchase an unlocked iPhone from US or any other country then it will hold its one-year warranty in India.

Earlier, Apple did not give warranty in India on unlocked iPhones. So, the user had to pay from his pocket in case any problem occurred with this device if it was not purchased in India. But, now the customers will be able to avail warranty on iPhones purchased from any other country.

This can be a good opportunity for those who are planning to buy the anniversary edition iPhone X. The iPhone X comes with a starting price tag of Rs 89,000 in India, whereas in US it is selling at $999 which translates into Rs 65,095. So, in case you purchase the device US you will be able to save Rs 23,904 and will also get warranty in India.

The iPhone X is now up for pre-order in some of select stores across NCR. Though iPhone X officially goes on pre-orders on the coming Friday (October 27) in the country, some stores have already started taking pre-orders for the phone.

The smartphone comes with Super Retina edge-to-edge 5.8-inch display with 2436 x 1125 pixels resolution. This is the first ever iPhone to come with an OLED display with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support.

The Apple iPhone X is powered by company's A11 Bionic chip and runs iOS 11. It sports dual 12MP rear camera with dual optical image stabilization. There's f/1.8 aperture on the wide-angle camera and an f/2.4 aperture on the telephoto camera. The smartphone comes in two storage variants -- 64GB and 256GB.
