IHC Confirms Fount Trust As Ultimate Parent Following Restructuring

Abu Dhabi-listed IHC confirmed Fount Trust as its new ultimate parent entity. This follows a corporate restructuring process occurring above the Royal Group level. IHC stated the change does not alter its ultimate beneficial ownership or strategy. Royal Group will continue to exist and operate normally under the new structure. The ownership chain remains completely unchanged up to the Royal Group level.

Pal Group of Companies continues to act as IHC’s majority shareholder. Royal Group remains the majority shareholder of the Pal Group of Companies. IHC assured investors there will be no change to its daily business operations. The Board of Directors will continue running the company under existing governance frameworks. IHC remains listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange with all standard disclosure requirements.

Ensuring Long-Term Ownership Continuity

CEO Syed Basar Shueb explained the reasoning behind the new corporate structure. He stated it provides a framework for long-term stewardship across future generations. The company wants to build an institution capable of creating lasting shareholder value. The structure combines ownership continuity with flexibility for authorized decision-makers. The management team remains focused on disciplined execution and adapting to market changes.

The restructuring ensures responsibilities and accountability remain clearly defined at all levels. Continuity in ownership supports patient investment and longer-term business partnerships. The company continues to develop its capabilities across its international investment platform. Shueb emphasized that the Board remains focused on building lasting value for shareholders. The governance and approval processes will continue to function exactly as before.

This organizational update clarifies the corporate hierarchy for investors and stakeholders. IHC maintains a significant presence in the regional and international business landscape. The company frequently pursues major acquisitions and strategic investments globally.
