The Abu Dhabi Public Prosecution issued a warrant to detain the man responsible for ridiculing a petrol station worker on Wednesday.
This comes as the latest update in the story of the petrol station worker who was filmed while a customer paid him in coins.
In a series of tweets, the public prosecution affirmed that such incidents do not represent the UAE's culture or its values. Anyone who exhibits such offensive actions are liable for prosecution as per the law.

وأوضحت النيابة العامة في أبوظبي أن القانون في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وضع حدوداً واضحة لمنع أي سلوكيات من شأنها عدم احترام الاخرين أو توجيه الاساءة إليهم أو معاملتهم بشكل غير لائق.

The video had gone viral on social media networks, spurring a backlash for its tasteless and disrespectful mockery.
