Residents living in certain parts of Dubai were met with rainfall on Friday.
In a video, the area of Al Rashidiya experienced a downpour late in the afternoon. Earlier, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said that convective clouds may form today. The clouds are associated with rainfall and fresh winds. It will also cause poor visibility up to 2,000 metres.
A tweet by Storm centre showed rain in Dubai's Mirdif district as well as in Al Ain.

The UAE is not the only country experiencing rainfall today. Storm_centre also showed videos of heavy rain in Oman.
