Video: When Sheikh Hamdan attended an Indian expat's son's grand Dubai wedding

It was a wedding between two Keralites but the ceremony held in Dubai became more special because of the guests who attended it.

The marriage of the son of the late A.P. Aslam, who was a Zabeel Palace administrator, turned out to be special for the wedding couple when Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, graced it.

The bride and the groom, Rashid and Siba, daughter of T.S. Yahia, attended the wedding reception held in their honour by Sayid Shamseldin Mohideen.

The reception at Dubai World Trade Centre was graced by senior officials and family members from both sides.

Prominent Kerala politicians, including former chief minister Oomen Chandy, opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan, and business leaders attended the function.

The grand mufti of Zimbabwe, Ismail ibn Musa Menk, was also in attendance. The royals and attendees wished the couple a happy married life.

Malayalam television channel Media One has uploaded some of the visuals from the marriage. Watch video below:
