In what might be the clearest indication yet that the US might go to war with North Korea, Donald Trump said that unless North Korea doesn’t back down, the US will have no choice but to completely destroy North Korea. While speaking the UN General Assembly hall Trump added that the leader of North Korea is on a suicide mission. He also took an indirect swipe at China and said he is totally against nations supporting North Korea by supplying ammunition and also supporting them financially.
Iran was also mentioned in his speech and also called Iran an economically backward state. Trump mentioned the Obama administration for the nuclear deal they negotiated with Iran in 2015 and did not give any assurances that he will let the deal go through when it will come up for discussion in mid-October.
Trump was in a bullish mood as he said that the US military forces will be at their strongest very soon. North Korea has been constantly testing its nuclear weapons even after several threats from the US.
