Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma are a married couple. The two tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy. 

Speculations were rife that the couple was getting hitched this week and the news had sent their fans into a tizzy.

Pictures of the venue were also leaked on Sunday. According to reports, the couple tied the knot amidst close family and friends.

According to reports, Virat had excused himself from the ODI series against Sri Lanka and had left for Italy from Delhi on December 9. Anushka had left with her family on December 9 for Italy.

According to reports, the wedding was solemnised in an 800-year-old plush resort set amidst rolling vineyards with only family and very few friends in attendance. Anushka Sharma wore a Sabyasachi ensemble on her special day

If reports are anything to go by then the power couple would be throwing a grand reception in Mumbai on December 26 and will be registering their marriage at the Bandra family court on January 4.
