Bahrain has supported the Palestinian people’s cause reiterating just and comprehensive peace in the region remains directly linked to the Palestinian people’s re-establishment of their legitimate rights.
Jamal Faris Al Ruwei, Bahrain’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, told the Security Council during an open discussion on situation in the Middle East that the Kingdom favoured establishing an independent state on June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital end ing the Israeli occupation of all the Palestinian lands and settlement activities.
