A bus that was stranded on a level crossing was slammed head-on by a train which resulted in the dead of sixteen people, the statement was released by Russia’s investigative committee
Russia’s Rossiya 24 TV channel reported that the bus was dragged along the track by the train before it came to a halt.
The bus was carrying workers from Uzbekistan. The bus was reduced to a heap of scrap while the train didn’t look to have suffered too much damage.
Vladimir Myagkov, a representative of the Russian Railways said that the bus had broken down on the track and some of its passengers tried in vain to push the bus off the track when the train collided with the bus.
