‘Visit visas valid for one month only’ – No extension

Kuwait, Director General of General Department for Residency Affairs Major General Abdullah Al-Hajri issued a circular to all residency affairs departments in all governorates to declare that all types of visit visa — dependent, commercial and tourist — will be valid for one month only and cannot be extended with effect from Aug 5.

 

Meanwhile, Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship, Passport and Residency Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf toured the headquarters of the Citizenship, Passport and Residency Affairs Sector and gave instructions to complete the preparation and issuance of electronic passports, and facilitate all transactions for the visitors, based on the directives of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior ret. Lieutenant General Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah and Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham.
