An infant has died after being thrown on the floor by his father, an official at the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has confirmed.
According Times of Oman the incident took place on Monday evening in the Wilayat of Rustaq.
The police official said, “The father is currently in custody and investigation is still underway.”
No further information was made available.
