The incredibly popular song Pasoori just crossed one billion views on YouTube. The track reached this massive milestone four years and seven months after its release. This achievement makes it the first music video produced in Pakistan to hit one billion. Coke Studio proudly announced the historic milestone on Instagram this Sunday. They thanked every single fan who pressed play and sang along over the years. The song originally debuted in 2022 during the fourteenth season of Coke Studio Pakistan. Ali Sethi and Shae Gill provided the incredible vocals for the duet.

Building A Global Fanbase Quickly

Producer Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, known as Xulfi, guided the unique creative process. Pasoori previously passed a billion audio streams on YouTube Music in January 2025. Sunday's milestone specifically celebrates the visual music video on the main YouTube platform. More than 90 percent of these video views originated entirely outside of Pakistan. Fans have watched the official video in more than 60 different countries worldwide. Sami Wahid, Coca-Cola's general manager for the region, highlighted this incredible global spread. He noted Coke Studio consistently carries Pakistani music to over 180 countries.

The song finished its debut year as Spotify's most-streamed Pakistani track. It currently boasts close to 405 million plays on the Spotify platform alone. It also dominated Google search trends globally throughout 2022. Disney even featured the track on the soundtrack for the Ms. Marvel television series.
