The tragic incident took place at a popular shopping mall in Singapore. 17-year-old Jonathan Chow can be seen jumping off the ledge in the CCTV footage shared by the mall.
His friend, Ruth who was making the video and saw the tragedy unfold says she knew it was dangerous but it was too late before she could react.
After his fall, passer-by tried to revive the teenager. He was rushed to hospital but later passed away.
