Dubai-Born Teen Ayaan Mandelia Enters Guinness World Records at 15

Teenager Achieves Remarkable ACCA Milestone

Dubai-born Indian-origin teenager Ayaan Mandelia has received recognition from Guinness World Records at just 15 years old after completing all 13 examinations of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification pathway. His record, dated July 13, 2026, recognises him as the youngest male chartered accountant at the age of 15 years and three days. He has also achieved ACCA Affiliate status, marking an important milestone in his professional education. His accomplishment has attracted attention because of the unusually young age at which he completed the examinations.

Completes 13 ACCA Examinations in Less Than Two Years

Ayaan began studying for the ACCA qualification in November 2024 and completed all 13 examinations by July 2026. He passed all four Strategic Professional examinations on his first attempt. His scores included 80 per cent in Advanced Financial Management and 75 per cent in Strategic Business Leader. The examinations covered subjects such as financial reporting, taxation, auditing and business strategy. His achievement reflects an intensive commitment to professional learning and accountancy.

Chooses an Alternative Education Pathway

Before concentrating on professional studies, Ayaan attended Jumeirah College in Dubai. He later left the conventional school route during Year 10 to focus on professional education and practical learning. His interest in accountancy developed through curiosity about how businesses operate, manage finances and make important decisions. He also gained exposure to real business activities through his family's company. This experience helped him connect classroom concepts with everyday business operations.

Gains Early Business Experience in Dubai

Since September 2024, Ayaan has been involved with AANKA Group, a Dubai-based family business led by his parents, both chartered accountants. The group operates across food and beverage, beauty and wellness, interiors and construction, with approximately 17 locations and 400 employees. His responsibilities include contributing to business strategy, digital systems and artificial intelligence initiatives. While his Guinness recognition marks an impressive achievement, ACCA Affiliate status is distinct from full membership, which requires additional practical experience and other conditions.
