14. Worked Together: Cameron Diaz And Justin Timberlake

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake began dating in 2003 after they met at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. The couple were one of the most high profile Hollywood relationships and were surrounded by rumours of a break-up throughout their relationship until they finally announced that they had parted ways in December 2006.

As actors, sometimes you will be asked to work with people you don’t necessarily like, but it seems that there isn’t any bad blood following the split between these two, since they were able to work together once again in 2011 when they were both cast in the film Bad Teacher. Both stars have moved onto new relationships since then and have seemingly managed to remain friends. They are setting a great example to other couples who can move on and do the same thing.

13. Refused: Rachel McAdams And Ryan Gosling

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling famously appeared as Allie and Noah in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks‘ tragic story The Notebook.  It came as a shock to many of their friends when they revealed that they were dating in real life, since it seemed like all they did was argue and fight when they were on-set making the film.

The couple dated for a number of years before they announced their split in 2007 and it was thought to have been mutual, even though neither star has talked publicly about their reasons for deciding to go their separate ways. Earlier this year it was reported that Rachel was mad that Ryan was able to move on from their break-up so quickly and that he was now dating Eva Mendes and they have two children. Rachel seems to be playing the jealous ex-card here, which could be why Ryan has been appearing in films with Emma Stone rather than Rachel over the past few years.
