10. Refused: Lena Headey And Jerome Flynn

Game of Thrones actors Jerome Flynn and Lena Headey began dating in the early 2000s. Unsurprisingly, it is reported that the relationship ended on a sour note somewhere around March 2014 and the couple have since had it written into their contracts that they no longer have to appear on-screen together. The Game of Thrones writing team has ensured that Cersei and Bronn never met on the show since the duo can now no longer be in the same room.

There was a scene in the final episode of Game Of Thrones last season, where Flynn’s character was forced to leave and state that he was going for a drink before Queen Cersei came onto the set, because they are not allowed to be on set at the same time. The reasons for the breakdown in their relationship are unknown, but it must have been quite a bad breakup for both stars to go to such lengths to ensure they never have to work together.

9. Worked Together: Jennifer Garner And Michael Vartan

Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan worked together on Alias for a number of years while Jennifer was still married to actor and screenwriter Scott Foley. Following her divorce from Foley in 2003, the couple made it public knowledge that they had begun dating, even though it seems that their secret romance was quite a short-lived affair.

The couple announced that they decided to split in August 2004, with Michael stating that they just worked better as friends. The couple still had to work together on Alias for the next few years, and it appears as though they were easily able to do this up until the series officially came to an end in 2006. Jennifer then went on to have a high profile marriage to Ben Affleck, before that ended in divorce in 2015.

8. Refused: Johnny Depp And Winona Ryder

Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder appeared together in Edward Scissorhands back in 1990 and began dating while the movie was still in production. The couple dated from 1989 until 1993 and it seemed at one point as though the couple might marry until they went their separate ways.

The duo remained friends for a number of years following their split as Depp moved on to date Kate Moss and then Vanessa Paradis, and then Amber Heard. However, Ryder stated that she refuses to share a screen with her former boyfriend ever again. It seems that the way Depp went about his relationship with Amber behind Vanessa’s back left a sour taste in Winona’s mouth, so much so that she has refused to ever work with him again. Winona stated that she thinks it’s a big cliché for Depp to break up with the mother of his children so that he can go on to date a woman in her 20s.
