iPhone 18 Pro Max Available In UAE While Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks Continue

Apple released the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max across the UAE today. Buyers who pre-ordered for in-store pickup are receiving email notifications about collection times. Day-one buyers can also visit Apple Stores at Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates. The headline upgrade on the new models is a variable-aperture main camera. Apple's triple 48MP camera system includes a main lens with six laser-cut blades.

Apple Introduces Variable Aperture Technology

These blades can adjust continuously across four different aperture settings. The widest setting allows roughly fifty percent more light through than previous designs. Apple is also giving users more manual control in the native Camera app. Meanwhile, leaks regarding Samsung's next Ultra flagship are circulating online. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is not expected until the first quarter of 2027.

Samsung has yet to officially confirm the device's name, specifications, or launch date. Leaks suggest Samsung may move away from its current floating camera-ring design. Some reports point to a unified camera module or a horizontal camera arrangement. Under the hood, Samsung could use different chipsets depending on the regional market. Reports point to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 in some regions.

Samsung Prepares Its Next Flagship Device

Other regions, including India, might receive the Exynos 2700 processor. The camera specifications for the S27 Ultra remain somewhat uncertain at this stage. Earlier reports suggested Samsung was working on a large 200MP sensor for 2027. However, recent rumors indicate Samsung may not use Sony's newly launched sensor. Samsung could have an advantage in the battery and display departments.

The phone is rumored to feature a 5,700mAh silicon-carbon battery. Leaks also point to a highly bright 6.9-inch display. For now, the iPhone 18 Pro Max offers a tested and available camera system. Consumers prioritizing battery life and screen brightness might prefer waiting for the Samsung release. Both devices represent the highest tier of modern smartphone engineering.
