U.S. Imposes Travel Ban On North Korea

America is set to impose a ban on travel to North Korea from September 1st, post which U.S. passports will not be valid in North Korea.

Since this travel ban news has been made public, there has been a surge in American tourists traveling to North Korea, just to be able to visit and enjoy the country one last time.

The ban will be made effective due to a recent mysterious death of a 22-year-old American student, after being imprisoned in North Korea for almost a year. He had returned to his parents in a state of coma and had never recovered from that.

The United States wants to ensure that such incidents don’t keep repeating in the mysteriously secretive state, thus a travel ban will be imposed on North Korea for American travelers. Those who need to travel to North Korea regarding special purposes need to take a necessary permission.
