Football Club Barcelona and Liverpool Expresses Condolences To Kerala Flood Victims

FC Barcelona and Liverpool have expressed their solidarities with victims of the Kerala floods and also urged their fans to support the people, who have been hit by the natural calamity.

Liverpool's official supporters club in Kerala -- KeralaReds -- asked for help from their fans for the victims of the flood-hit state on Thursday.

"Dear Reds, Kerala is going through one of its biggest natural disasters in its history. We are doing our best to help the people in need. It would be great if you all can spread the message and donate," tweeted KeralaReds.

Following that, LFC India also tweeted in support and asked their fans to help the victims.

"Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the floods in Kerala. Those willing to help in any way can reach out to our official supporters club in the state - @KeralaReds YNWA [You Will Never Walk Alone]", tweeted LFC India.

"Dear @KeralaReds Our international supporters liaison team will be in contact to see what we can do to help. Thank you for reaching out, and please know that all of us here @LFC are thinking about you in this time of extreme difficulty #YNWA," tweeted Liverpool CEO Peter Moore in reply to Liverpool's official supporters club in Kerala asked for help.

Barcelona also expressed their condolences to the families of the victims in Kerala.

"FC Barcelona expresses its condolences to the families of the victims of the floods in India and offers its support to all those affected," Barcelona said through a facebook post.

La Liga, Spain's premier football competition, also tweeted in support of the victims in Kerala.
