There have been a number of couples who have been pushed together because they have appeared in TV shows or films, only for their relationships to fail, which then has an impact on their career. Some couples manage to end things amicably and are then able to continue working together if they are cast in a TV show together and have a contract to fulfil. That being said, there are also a number of couples who have ended their relationship in the roughest of ways, which then meant that the duo could no longer be in the same room, let alone work together on a TV or film project.

Different circumstances affect certain stars, but it seems that there have been a number of exes who have been asked to work together after a breakup, and it comes down to the couple and whether or not they feel that they can still be friends after they were once so much more than that.

15. Worked Together: Jennifer Lawrence And Nicholas Hoult

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult met while filming X-Men and continued to date throughout the sequels of the films, until they announced their split in August 2014.

Jennifer was quite emotional following the split since she considered Nicholas a long-term boyfriend after they dated for more than five years. She stated that her break-up came just as work on popular series The Hunger Games came to an end, as well, and it was quite hard for her to deal with this all at once. The two were reunited on-screen back in 2015 when they returned to their roles in X-Men: Apocalypse. At the very least, it seems that the couple managed to remain friends who are still able to work together on-screen even if they’re not together off it.
