Michael Douglas followed in the footsteps of his famous father, legendary actor Kirk Douglas. Michael created his own legacy and fame in Hollywood. He started his career in the 1970’s, and it has spanned several decades. He won an Academy Award for his role in Oliver Stone’s Wall Street. He has starred in several other memorable films, such as Basic Instinct, Traffic, and Ant-Man. However, his son, Cameron Douglas, has struggled to follow his famous father. Cameron has had several run-ins with the law for drug-related offences. In 2009, he was arrested for possession of meth and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. His sentence was extended after he convinced his girlfriend to smuggle heroin to him while under house arrest. In 2016, he was released after serving 7 years with two of those in solitary confinement. At the time of his arrest, Michael took full responsibility for his son’s actions and for “being a bad father.”
